After studying Cultural and Sustainability Studies in Lüneburg, Paula completed the Master’s programme in Comparative Literature at the University of Cologne 2023 with a thesis on the intricacies of the scales of climate change in contemporary environmental novels. At MESH, she worked as a research assistant supporting the projects Just Futures? An Interdisciplinary Approach to Cultural Climate Models (CCM) and Vom Anthropozän erzählen. Previously, Paula was research assistant in the project Climate Change Literacy. Paula’s research areas are Environmental Humanities, Gender Studies and Postcolonial Studies, with a particular interest in narratives about climate change and species extinction in fiction, ecofeminism and environmental justice. During her Bachelor's degree, she spent a semester at Aarhus University, Denmark and went to Oviedo, Spain as an Erasmus student during her Master’s degree. Paula is currently enrolled in the Master’s programme Sustainability Management at the University of Copenhagen.
