Currently finishing the remaining courses for his Bachelor’s degree, Frederic is studying education for secondary school for the subjects English and Art with a special interest in Gender and Queer Studies. Frederic is research assistant at MESH since the beginning of 2023. In this capacity, he supports Roman Bartosch’s research, for instance in the interdisciplinary project Just Futures? An Interdisciplinary Approach to Cultural Climate Models (CCM). Additionally, he is active within the Autonomes Queerreferat of the University of Cologne (AQUK) which focuses on creating a safe space for queer students, planning events such as the Christopher Street Day (CSD), and offer educational resources concerning queer topics to students.
